Bites of My Life

June is here and already feels like it is slipping away from me. Last week there were surprise visits from friends, a spa day, yoga,  lots of work, but lots of friend time and ended with a relaxing sunday and evening walk. My camera roll is full of pictures from last week so I'll let them do the talking.

-Sweet friends reunited for a birthday surprise!
-The yummiest chicken salad I've ever had. Recipe was posted last week. I just love how colorful it is!
-Korean lunch date with my dad after only having a half day at work. We got the korean beef pate and korean gyro. Foodies is the cutest little korean diner in OKC. Sometimes I think I love ethnic food more than American food.
-I've started going to hot yoga and surprisingly love it. I thought the heat would make me feel claustrophobic, but there is something so cleansing about it. After all the sweat, smoothies from The Earth were in order.

-If you are from Oklahoma, or nearby, you know the beauty of Braums. If you have never had Braums, I'm sorry. A scoop of their new flavor "ameretto cookie," served as my wednesday night treat!
-Channeling my inner elementary kid by making words out of my pretzels.
-Sunday lunch at my favorite Norman restaurant. The Governor's Rueben and three bean salad from Midway.
-Finally finished my confetti garland! Get excited for the DIY this week.
Hope you have a great week!
